Lisa Thompson APRN

About Us

While our staff is small, personable and yet private, we pride ourselves on professionalism. Desert Spring Behavioral Health is here to help. Since our clients are usually working one-on-one with Lisa or Paige, they are heard without the worry of wondering who your therapist will be from one session to another. This allows you to get the most out of your sessions.

Lisa Thompson

Lisa Thompson moved to Saint George to open her psychiatric practice, Desert Spring Behavioral Health, in 2011 after graduating from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah. Lisa holds the title of APRN. An APRN is an advanced practice registered nurse. In 2009, Lisa worked through her Internship and Residency at Primary Care Behavioral Health. Now, Lisa shows her gentle and caring personality by assisting those in need of better mental health for her own practice serving the southern Utah area.

Some of the fields that she offers to her 18 and older clients include medication management, depression, emotional as well as behavioral issues, post-traumatic stress disorders – including therapy for those that served in our military. Help even extends to those that find themselves in crisis situations such as abuse and those considering suicide. You can find a more conclusive list on our Services page.

Paige Marshall

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, MSN, APRN, PMHNP

Paige enjoys working with a variety of mental illness, across all ages. She believes treatment includes a balance of healthy options; physical activity, healthy diet, therapy and medication. In her practice as a nurse practitioner, she strives for optimal medication management without the use of multiple medications. Often times she finds genetic screening to be helpful with medication selection. Paige also takes pride in collaborating and communicating with primary care providers.
After practicing as a Registered Nurse for over 10 years, Paige went back for her nurse practitioner degree. She specialized in psychiatric/mental health medication management for all mental diagnoses, across the lifespan. Paige enjoys all areas of treatment, and working with a variety of client’s needs.
“I understand that being vulnerable and open with a new provider can be a fearful experience. I hope, and strive to help each client feel comfortable and relaxed. I understand first hand how mental ailments affect individuals and families. I hope to be an active listener and always provide compassionate care.”
